Wuertz tossed a gas can on the Cubs' 8-2 lead last night. He's clearly not in major league form right now. Ohman was even worse the other day, then had another bad outing. Wuertz was fine in his previous outings. Again, shortsighted.
 Seriously, are they going to call up [insert LHP not as good as Ohman] because Ohman blew up the last two games? Novoa isn't bad, but it's a shortsighted move. Russ was released. Bah. Fixed.
They needed a bullpen arm and couldn't afford to send down a bat with Jones out. Wuertz is a bullpen arm. He threw 15 pitches yesterday, after not pitching for the 2 previous games.
That's probably a good comparison. I could see a Rusty Greer type career as well, without the unfortunate end because of injuries. Greer is a very good comparison.
That's a great list, but really http://www.newbergreport.com should be there for the Texas Rangers board. What's the name of that really good brewer board? It's not on there either. EDIT: I should probably read this thread, it's brewerfan.net
E-Patt's start is really getting me excited. It's nice to see a highly regarded pick perform to capabilities after the injuries and disappointments of Dopirak and Harvey thus far.
