  1. A Williams-like appearance? Nah, Gooz is much cuter! Seriuosly.. 5IP 4ER 3K 2BB
  2. 1.3 IP 7ER 0K 3BB
  3. Holy Guacamole, Batman. CLSHS can't be more than 3 miles from my house. We definitely gotta beat this boy like a rented mule. !! Fred, we're neighbors...I work in Elgin (passes through Algonquin everyday to work) and live in Crystal Lake. Well, I certainly hope you wave as you're passing through. It's the neighborly thing to do, no? I go fishing out by Elgin and Algonquin all the time. I live in Cary. Work in the loop though :( I work in the loop too. Also live here. Your commute may be a tad longer
  4. To really torque us Cardinal fans?? You guys got Rolen in a similar way.
  5. I think it is pretty clear you did it so that 3 years later (2006) you would be ready to make a serious run....... at the worst record in modern baseball history.
  6. I'll take #38 (Edited when I saw someone else took every other number in the 30's besides 38)
  7. I am not assuming you haven't been to any of those places...But I truely hope you are only judging it against places you have actually been to.
  8. Thank you for that, saved me a ton of time.
  9. You wouldn't. of course not, because marxists have never erected idols, engaged in idol-worship or nationalism. i don't see what me being a marxist has anything to do with this. but leave it to some sort of almost superstitious hatred of anything non-capitalist to spark hatred in someone speaking without knowing. Please don't ruin this thread, start a new one in Rants (where all Sulley's posts end up)
  10. They showed a video clip of this while the cubs were playing the Dodgers. I Tivoed all the games, If I still have them, and can figure out how to upload to a computer...Well I'll try.
  11. This is what I just read: "Pujols Pujols ok Pujols Pujols great Pujols Pujols no problem Pujols Pujols....Zambrano punk" Seriously, why would you even add that last line? Just to flame? The article was about Pujols acting like Bonds, then trying A)rectify B)explain. Then you throw a Z comment at the end? Instead of actually commenting on what YOU had just pasted!
  12. Interesting. You're saying that playing your best players may help you win?
  13. You can only claim ownership on negative thoughts. It sort of works like reverse psychology karma over the airwaves. If you turn off the game or think something negative, it helps the Cubs you see. See when I was driving and Barret got that strikeout. I told myself well they walked and the bases are loaded but I'm not letting these Cubbies get my hopes up, I'll just listen. Plus with 1 out and Murton and Jones up, doesn't put the most optimism in my head. THAT'S what did it! I'll claim what I like thank you. Called the game tying hit, called the batter, before the inning started. I'll be at the Title company recording the deed on my ownership of this win.
  14. Sorry guys, I'm taking ownershi of this one. Before the bootom of the 8th started I said Murton would get a game tying hit as the sixth batter of the inning. (You ever want to piss off your lady, accurately call something like that)
  15. I heard from one person that they are awaiting approval from the inspectors or something like that. It's harder to do that in St. Louis than Chicago. The inspectors actually have to go to the site and inspect it. Really slows the process down if you ask me. Downtown St Louis is like 3 blocks long, I'm sure the inspectors can get there pretty quickly.
  16. It's worth it, they are very tastey.
  17. Just got back home, great trip. Nice to meet Vance, a Cubs win!!
  18. 19. Has a game thread ever been locked before the game ended?
