  1. Could bare the fact that you were a Sox fan, but a Packers fan too? That's 2 strikes....I'll be watching closely for the third ;) I hear he's a Knicks fan ;)
  2. I grew up north of Chicago, therefore the Bears were my first team (and will always be number 1 with me). We moved to Indiana when I was in high school and I was still living there when the Colts moved to Indianapolis, so I started following the Colts as well (even more so since Manning's been there). And finally, I moved to North Carolina a year before the Panthers started. I usually go to one of their games each year. So although three favorite teams may be a bit much, there's a real reason for each one. Ah, makes sense.
  3. Because he's a solid, durable pitcher. And he's getting the same deal as Lilly, when he's a way better pitcher than Lilly. Please make some attempt to quantify that statement. You're almost guaranteed to get over 190 IP, if not 200, while you'll be lucky to get 170 out of Lilly. Over the past four years Suppan has posted a better average WHIP and average ERA. Lilly has a much higher HR/9 ratio, and a much higher FB% than Suppan. Those two things combined in Wrigley could spell disaster for Lilly. Neither are ace pitchers, but with Suppan you know what you are going to get, and if I had my choice between the two for the same contract, it wouldn't even be a debate for me.
  4. Three favorite teams? Weird. I grew up hating Favre. As I grew older and more intelligent, I began to respect him as the great QB he is and my actual hatred for him has diminished. That being said, regardless if this is his last game or not, I want the Bears to beat the absolute piss out of him and the Packers.

  6. oh my god. thank god mike williams is terrible.
  7. HOLDING on the guy block Anderson.
  8. Good to see Gould is out of his slump.
  9. Me too, I'm really rooting for the Titans and Jets. After dealing with obnoxious Jets fans in the Meadowlands, I hope they fall flat on their faces. As a sports fan, I find it almost impossible not to root for Vince Young. I've never had any problem with the Jets, and since Brad Smith is on the team and is getting decent playing time, I'm rooting for him.
  10. Jesus Peterson can hit. Put him at LB!

  12. He was over his back. Edit, maybe not.
  13. Thanks for saving our asses Detroit.
  14. I say it every week but I feel it needs to constantly be reiterated: Benson never stops moving his feet and he hits the hole so hard. He is going to be a stud.
  15. HESTER where the hell is your head today?
  16. I really don't think the Bears are trying their hardest...and why should they? Why shouldn't they? It's still football. I don't care if we've clinched everything, it's the Lions, they are a two-win team, and a division rival. Come out and play hard. No but why show all our confusing schemes on offense and defense while giving our future playoff opponent more tape to study. Just do the basics and get by healthy. I see your point, but they already have 14 weeks to study...
