  1. Damn, nice AB though. 43 pitches through 2 for Redman.
  2. 12 pitches for Hill, 23 for Redman through 1.
  3. Good thing Dusty isn't managing anymore. Not only would Dusty rip Theriot publicly after the game, Theriot would spend the next 3 months in AAA. Dusty never ripped his players publicly IIRC.
  4. I didn't realize DeRosa's numbers were so terrible.
  5. Lee is going to hit 1, maybe 2 homers tonight.
  6. I promise you woul ogle at badger's too. Someone should PM it to me then, haha.
  7. Also: Win this bleeping game you bleeping bleep bleepers
  8. Atlanta is ET and St. Louis is central time...but the Cards series is at Wrigley.
  9. Also, I posted before I read the article, and I completely agree with Downey's take on Sammy. He has never failed a drug test, he didn't back down at Congress, he declared that he never took steroids (albeit through an interpretor, but who cares), and the only mistake he made was with the corked bat. However, what proof do we actually have that a corked bat makes the ball go farther? As far as I know, we have none (if I'm wrong on this, please correct me). Plus, this quote from the article is more telling to me than the actual corked bat:
  10. I'm pretty sure the Hall of Fame has to do with the numbers a player puts up in his career, not what kind of attitude he sports. If that was the case, guys like Ty Cobb probably wouldn't be in the HOF. Unless Sammy gets caught using steroids or something like that, there is no reason he shouldn't be a first ballot HOFer. I also realize that the voters don't always see it like this, and they'll use things like Sammy "walking out" ( ) on his team against him, which is completely unfair.
  11. I didn't see badger's...so I went with wolf's, because I can't help but ogle at it every time I see it.
  12. The Battle For Sixth Place Wrigley Field 4/20-4/22
  13. Molina might've missed a squeeze call, but with two outs that seems like a stretch.
