    Were you expecting him to go four innings? There's got to be someone else in this bullpen that can prove they can actually get a batter or two out. Yep, I did say that I was expecting him to go four innings. Actually no, it would've made sense to use him either now, or earlier in the 6th inning when it was tight then. But hey, let's keep using our best reliever late in the game when it doesn't matter instead of a tight part of the game.

    Great for Max. I loved watching him pitch here when I was a freshman at Mizzou and he was a junior. Hopefully he can crack the rotation soon.

    what has happened to him? Same thing as Carl Pavano and Jason Schmidt. He signed a huge guaranteed contract, realised he was set for life, and said to hell with it. Barry Zito was obviously the beneficiary of a huge ballpark in Oakland. Not so much in SF>

    Chiefs are having an unbelievable draft. I'm glad Franklin is with the Chiefs so I can watch him on Sundays. I think he can step in and make an impact immediately for you guys.

    What don't you like? I think it's been a fine draft so far. I would've preferred Albert over Williams in the first and a WR like Sweed over a RB in the 2nd, but Williams is a fine pick and Forte sounds pretty damn good, as does Bennett. The DT provides some nice depth for if/when Tommie and Dusty get hurt. Bowman is a solid CB, and I really like the Safety pick because it will probably help keep Archuleta off the field. I wish we would get a Guard, and I would've liked Johnson, but I'm hoping now we don't take a QB at all because I don't want someone like Woodson. There's been some interesting picks, but I don't think there have been any bad ones.
