I feel like I've read other things. Explosive with the ball yes, but prone to the drop. Just a few scouting reports made me feel like he'd be a similar player to Hester overall. Not what we're really looking for in the 2nd round. I want to get someone who is big and physical for us to compliment Hester. Problem is, after Britt, Nicks and DHB there's not really very many big wide receivers in the draft. The best after them is probably Ramses Barden from Cal Poly SLO (I think that's where he's from, some small California school) and middle of the second might be a bit of a reach for him. He fits your description almost perfectly, though. After Barden, Marko Mitchell from Nevada and Patrick Turner from USC would be the guys you'd want if you specifically wanted a big receiver. And both of them are probably 4th-5th type guys. Yeah, if Britt isn't there I might think about passing on a WR in the 2nd round. Then again, while I do feel like Barden is a 3rd rounder, he won't be there at 99. Would it be worth taking him in the 2nd if he was the only "big" WR left?
