  1. What's the estimated time frame for Lee to make the majors?
  2. well...you know....starting goalie. i know but a week or two ago we had 6 spots to fill and we've signed a handful of guys since then so i didnt know if niemi was the only piece left or if we had a few other slots open still
  3. not falling for your nonsense sulley
  4. Have these people ever even seen Alexander play football? I mean, really? Watch 6:20, 7:20, or even 8:20 and try to say he's not especially fast. I've never seen so many people have an angle on a ball carrier and then just never get to him as I did with Alexander, including Jeremy Maclin. Yeah, it's one thing to say you're concerned about his speed due to the surgeries, but to see he's not known for being fast is ridiculous. He was supposed to be Jeremy Maclin before Maclin came around. Unless these people are just getting confused because he's not a "burner" but more of a glider. If that's the case then they are just stupid.
  5. so how many empty spots do we have left to fill?
  6. Probably. With speed guys like Knox and Hester, Barnes would be a very good possession guy. He runs great routes and catches anything thrown to him, but he's slower than dirt.
  7. Bears are gonna take a look at Danario Alexander http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/07/bears-to-scout-ex-mizzou-wr-danario-alexander.html
  8. i think moving reasoner clears the way for beach, actually. gives a little more room, but really downgrades the 4th line center position, which i guess isn't the worst thing that could happen. Man, those first two lines are still damn good, but the bottom two lines could get interesting.
  9. Good job Bowman, now hopefully we can fit Niemi in.
  10. Jordan at Lake Tahoe: "I would not have called Larry and Magic and say let's play together. I wanted to beat them.
  11. Got shipping confirmation for my DVD today from nhl.com. Woot.
  12. It also means the Bears lose next year's 7th round pick.
  13. Bears took BYU RB Harvey Unga in the 7th round of the supplemental draft today. He had a solid career at BYU, but he withdrew from the university for violating their honor code. Ran for 1087 yards and 11 TDs last year as a junior, and is a big bruiser-type back at 6-0, 244 pounds. I really like this low risk, high reward move.

  15. They also said: GM Stan Bowman said not an either/or with Hammer and Niemi. Negotiations continue with Antti.
  16. From the Blackhawks twitter: Breaking news: Blackhawks WILL match San Jose's offer sheet for Hjalmarsson.
  17. Yeah, the longer this goes the more nervous I'm getting.
