I am a big fan actually. Though we're not going to win this game because of Alex Smith or Colin Kaepernick. Our D is good enough to contain the offense no matter who is their QB. We're going to have to make a play or two on offense. I don't have a great feeling about this one for some reason.
I've always thought a fair suspension for a deliberate helmet-to-helmet hit was that you miss as much time as the player you injured does. Whether it be a few plays, couple weeks, whatever.
I hope the Bears head-hunt on Rodgers when they play the Packers. There's literally no reason not too. Knock out a starting QB, lose 15 yards, maybe have a small portion of your paycheck lost, but you win the game.
He's the #3 DE and McClellin (the #4 DE) is out. which brings up this point - i havent seen peppers all game. He's been in quite a bit. He gets subbed out a lot (as does Idonije) because Wootton and McClellin are pretty competent and because Peppers is playing with plantar fasciitis And if McClellin was in I'd say that's fine, but with him out Peppers needs to be in way more often than not.
