  1. Agreed. All these night games are annoying. I'm sure they're great for all the 9 to 5'ers out there, but for me, they cut into quality primetime TV watching time. This is an oxymoron, no?
  2. Right, and upon arriving in Cleveland, Kuehn's BA immediately dropped 50 points and his OPS dropped 100 points, so what did the Indians do.... they shipped him off to San Francisco where the former batting champ cracked the .300 mark once (.304) in four plus seasons, so what did the Giants do..... well, of course, they shipped him off to the CUBS (who else) where he stunk up our house for 2 partial seasons, barely staying above the Mendoza line. But it's OK.... we were able to sell him to the Phillies, (only franchise in MLB worse than the CUBS), they'll take anybody !!! Ah, the memories !! Now.... tell us again who you want to trade Lee for ????
  3. Tim... I signed on AOL just so I could log in and see if it would work. It did, without incident.
  4. I've got Colonel Mustard in the kitchen with a candlestick. Oh wait.... wrong game. Never mind.
  5. Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm 5-5 at home and 0-5 on the road. Saw some real doozies down in Atlanta last month. Going to see Rusch pitch again on Wednesday. Oh boy !!

  7. How about some of our minor league experts here ?? Anybody know anything about these 2 guys ?
  8. Oh boy.... the 2 minor leaguers from Atlanta are pitchers. Why do I always cringe when Schurholz sends us pitchers in a trade ????
  9. Baker must have gotten a call from upstairs to get Hollandsworth out of the game because he had just been traded.
  10. Hollandsworth traded to Atlanta for 2 minor leaguers. Just reported by Pat Hughes.

  12. this just in : Williamson Sox, but who cares? why is McLane/ McLain on this damn team? why is he taking AB's away from Murton? because it's not Sep. 1st? personally at a loss... Murton was sent down when Hariston was activated. He has to stay in the minors for 10 days before he can be brought back. His 10 days weren't up, so McClain was brought up instead.
  13. Funny how things turn sometimes..... a couple innings ago our staff had given up 7 walks with 0 strikeouts. Now we have 7 walks and 7 strikeouts.
