  1. That's the first double by a CUBS player since last Thursday v. Washington.
  2. CUBS are 0-7 when they allow 9 or more runs in a game. There's a shocker, no? edit: CUBS haven't scored more than 9 runs in a game since Fri 14 April v. Pittsburgh (11-6). That was 35 games ago.
  3. CUBS are 2-13 when they allow 6 or more walks in a game. Go CUBS !! [sigh]

  8. Heh, why? They're playing a song from The Hulk as Marshall leaves and Wuertz enters. something about lost islands, alligators, crocodiles, he was laughing the entire half inning I'd rather have him laughing at random reptiles rather than the team on the field, no?
  9. Those are 3 very key stats into how this next offseason could go. I see Hendry trying to sign guys who may K a LOT, but should give him the expectation of 2 HRs (total) for the game. And by gosh, they're gonna be great defenders. We'll sign all the defensive gurus! Make the other team commit errors by default. Oh yeah, and lobby Selig that we only have games on Monday. Well..... Sundays & Wednesdays are better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick !!
