I can't wait for this game to start. I just have a good feeling about every one of the cubs future games now that I've joined them in the midwest for the foreseeable future. LET'S GET IT DONE COBS.

I understand why they didn't go all out at the deadline, but it really does suck that we have prospects and pieces and we weren't able to cash those in to plug up a pretty notable hole in the form of our 5th starter. We have a perfect guy for the job of "5th starter" in Hendricks, but we needed one pitcher better than him to allow him to be that. We, in my mind, had the means to address this problem, but decided to play it safe. That's understandable, yet frustrating.

Somehow it doesn't surprise me at all that weird ass Hunter Pence has wound up playing in San Francisco. Probably the best city-player match he could ever want.

Why can't every away announcer be like the nationals' ? Those guys are smart and entertaining.

They haven't made any quality points. Seemingly no baseball insight. They just keep droning and mumbling on, then the guy with a deeper voice yells whenever anything happens.
