  1. Oh good, more baseball to piss me off You don't have to watch. Oh but I do. I love being miserable.
  2. I just want Starlin to OBP over .300 at this point.
  3. DIAF Okay fine, the pitcher isn't an automatic out these days, Lester is a beast now. The rest of them can't hit worth [expletive] though and you can't argue otherwise.
  4. Tough to score runs when you have 5 automatic outs in your lineup in Starlin, Montero, Fowler, Addison and the pitcher. Once you get past Rizzo and Bryant in the order, you basically have no hope in scoring a run. Now Soler changes that somewhat but still. Things to be done because this offense is incredibly bad.
  5. lol they really made the Cubs play out there in that rain and then called for the tarp?
  6. Not like the Cubs are scoring 3 runs anyways. Just call this.
  7. Just cancel this game, dumb wasting their time
  8. this offense is right in the middle of the pack in the NL and is half comprised of like 22-25 year olds By which metrics could they be considered middle of the pack, because I would be thrilled for a simply mediocre offense? http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=nl&qual=0&type=8&season=2015&month=0&season1=2015&ind=0&team=0,ts&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=16,d That's all great but once they get RISP, they [expletive] their pants. 29th in BA with RISP
  9. he acted like he didn't just give up 2 runs and won the WS after getting hte 3rd out, but no, he didn't injure himself Dude was pissed at himself, he wasn't happy at all.
  10. this offense is right in the middle of the pack in the NL and is half comprised of like 22-25 year olds They're 24th in runs and 27th in BA
  11. And just like that, this one is more than likely over
  12. Yupppppp and that's how this one is ending
  13. Now some random nobody is gonna hit a home run and it'll be about as Cubs/Cardinals as you can get
  14. Hahahahahahahaahahahaha of [expletive] course
  15. Right down the middle and he fouled it back
  16. I'm not sure how accurate LOB% is going back, but per Fangraphs the Cardinals have the highest LOB% as a staff since...ever. No team has ever cracked 80% and the Cardinals are at 81.7%. So pretty much the opposite of what they did 2 years ago when they had like a .400 average with RISP they mean the other way (pitchers, not hitters) Oh I know but they're both as I see them, fluky clutch stats. Like it's not a skill to be stupidly good with RISP or stupidly good at leaving runners on. But they seem to do it.
