  1. I definitely want a strong left handed since Richard and Wood have been disappointments so far this year. We may need another starter to replace Hammel but he has only had 1 bad start this year so I am willing to wait and see how he rebounds from this outing next start.
  2. So is Rondon going to get a save or not that's the only question left.
  3. Not sure why Hammel gave Harper a couple of easy pitches to drive instead of being more careful with him.
  4. I am glad that Daniel Murphy is sick I am tired of seeing him.
  5. You said that as if it's for sure true. I'm not sure it is. There is always room to improve. Is it necessary to do so probably not we will still have the best team regardless but you could for instance replace Clayton Richard with someone who doesn't suck and that would improve the team. It won't drastically improve the team since we won't be using him in close games but it would still be an improvement.
  6. I would rather have Andrew Miller.
  7. Overturning the call on that play is a joke and just wrong.
  8. Lester does it again and escapes bases loaded with nobody out!
  9. If your going to take that big of a lead you have to go or you will be picked off like Rodriguez was.
  10. At best he's even with Russell at SS, I think Russell is better though. It might just be recency bias on my part but it seems like Baez has a better arm and more range. That botched double play by Russell might be clouding my judgement of him though.
  11. I wouldn't mind seeing Javy get some playing time at shortstop as well since he's currently our most impressive defender on the infield.
  12. Gotta give Richard something to do I guess.
  13. I think the guy is out at second and safe at first.
  14. I love the patient approach by the Cubs this year. Getting a good pitcher like Cole out of the game in the 5th inning is awesome.
  15. Plus its cold and raining combine that with hockey and you get an empty stadium.
