I watch about 90% of the A's games. Overton is even worse than his numbers but the offense is passable. Valencia smokes lefties and Semien keeps hitting homers. But they're not good. -
The Rangers broadcasters are absolutely brutal homers. Like Hawk level homers. No problem with homerism but at some point be professional. I get stuck having to listen to them here in Austin and their games immediately go on mute.

I don't get this crusade. You already have said you think Maddon is one of the best managers in the game. Just pointing out the facts...the ones soaking their tampons over my doing so are the ones on the "crusade"... Just slapping them around a bit after their misguided initial attacks. You have presented zero facts, not even a hint of a fact. As you can see, Joe is not above criticism here, but carry on Rammy.

You're not a major league manager so the onus is on you to prove through math that you're ridiculous rantings and ravings hold any water. You're not rent free anywhere at all, I just find this weird crusade to be a truly special thing to behold until you flame out and say something that gets you banned. It's going to happen. If you think Maddon is a terrible manager you should go watch some Cardinals games, but I suspect you probably do watch a ton of Cardinal games see Matheny work his magic and troll on a Cubs board as a form of therapy.

I know you likely weren't serious, but I sure hope there wouldn't be anyone out there who still hates Soriano. Man I used to meatball on Soriano so hard. Then when I moved back to Chicago that changed once I started spending multiple days a week in the LF bleachers. Same with Marmol. I talked to him after BP one day during his spiral and you could tell the booing and horsefeathers was affecting him as a person. I can honestly credit that 10 minute conversation with changing my perspective on sports and athletes and even life stuff as weird as that sounds. -
I have absolutely no clue how Matt Moore commanded an MLB player and 2 prospects. I mean, Matt Duffy sucks too, but nowhere near as bad as Matt Moore.

Nightengale tweeted that the Reds had found a match and are supposed to trade Bruce to an NL team this morning. Heyman's saying that the Giant's haven't heard anything or been informed that Bruce has been traded. Thanks. Heyman should stop subtweeting his peers.

While searching for the Aramis dong against Milwaukee I stumbled on this... Someone posted all of the Cubs walkoffs from 2008 onward. Pretty cool. As weird as it sounds the Joe Mather walkoff is in my top 5. Because horsefeathers the Cardinals.

Matusz in the Cubs MiLB system: 41% K rate. 11.7 K/9. 3.05 BB/9. 0.51 HR/9. Arrieta in Cubs MiLB system in 2013: 28.7% K rate. 11.57 K/9. 4.75 BB/9. 0.59 HR/9. Safe to say Matusz will be winning a Cy Young in the near future.
