  1. Lmao. 2 innings in a row the Phillies get a 2 out RBI XBH scoring a runner from 1st. horsefeathers the Road Cobs.
  2. I guess winning 2 in a row on the road is an impossible task.
  3. Yeah after he got doubled off multiple times and made the excuse about the signs. Like I said don’t be ignorant. We all know what happened.
  4. Did he get sent down for his .798 OPS as a starter or the .800+ OPS he had the month leading up to getting sent down? Part of it was the play at 2nd against the Pirates where he threw home and took none of the blame, which is a main issue they wanted him to work on. Improving as a person, if he’s going to deflect there he’s going to deflect elsewhere. If the Cubs are sincere about helping him be a better person there has to be consequences for show seeds of his previous(edit: or normal) behavior.
  5. One thing Russell talked about before his call up was learning to take responsibility for his actions. He continued to deflect blame in his personal and baseball life for his mistakes. Hopefully he does become a better human being and one of those steps is taking responsibility. He may be one of the best 25 players, but he’s not currently among the best 25 teammates or people. He talked about missing some signs on his own and was rewarded by getting sent to the minors. People called him dumb for that, then also rip him when he doesn't. It was more than that. Don’t be ignorant.
  6. It was a 122 after yesterday game, but will go up again after today. In today's game he homered for the 3rd game in a row going 1-for-2 with a pair of HBP. His OPS on the year in Iowa is .987 which leads the team even better than Robel, and in 14 games sent getting sent down .362/.441/.702/1.143. 7. Funny thing is after they blew it the hit a 2 out 2 run homer in the 9th to win it off Osuna.
  8. Well they don’t have Heyward leading off so they can probably pull it off.
  9. We have 9 games left vs these fucks. Better go 7-2 at minimum.
  10. Question I don't have the answer to. Did Happ really need to work on things, and did he work on those things and that's why he's productive so far? Or is Ian Happ the same Ian Happ as he's always been and should have been up here the whole time if he's up here now? I’m going to say it helped him. Just like 2015 helped Javy.
  11. 2 outs and nobody on and our great leadoff hitter continues the inning and eventually scored on the Bryant homer.
  12. Heyward, Javy, Schwarber, and Happ all just missed homers. Here we are with 1 run.
  13. Maybe one of the Rangers or Pirates can pull a miracle.
