LOL, it's pretty hilarious. ESPN and NFL Network are talking about the Bears in a positive light, not just after a primetime embarrassing loss. I've even seen some say the Bears can make a run at a playoff spot in a weak NFC. Obviously, the Bears and Fields himself have a long way to go. I think he'll have to show that he can put up big numbers thru the air before he will be universally regarded as "elite". But it's fun seeing everyone doing victory laps if they believed from the start, and eating crow if they thought like Mike Martz. lol at the playoffs talk. If the Bears can’t win with Fields putting up historically great numbers, I can’t see them making a run against I think one of the hardest remaining schedules in the league. Then you add in the fact that the bears are barely disguising their desire to tank (for example look at the Bears offensive pace when down 2 scores in the 4th quarter against Dallas). Nah I’ll just enjoy Fields balling out, hoping for them to win but not too disappointed if they lose Schedule is really only hard because 3 games. Philly, Buffalo, and Minnesota. That Minnesota game might be a rest game. Detroit x2 @Atlanta Green Bay are extremely winnable. Getting ahead of ourselves A LOT, getting 9 wins could depend on that Jets game. Obviously you can’t assume beating Green Bay, but in some crazy world where we win 3 in a row to get to 6-6 Fields beating Green Bay to get us to 7-6 would be AMAZING. Sorry for dreaming a little!
