    Wells was never highly regarded (IIRC) and was clearly pitching over his head. No, he was actually decent but got hurt and was never the same. Never great, but a solid back end guy who lost some velocity after the injury and demonstrated how thin the line between success and failure is in MLB. Forgive me, I tried my hardest to avoid our farm system up until Theo/Jed came.
