    Why does it seem like every time I watch the Cubs on WGN they don't have a very good game? Not jumping the gun on this one yet, but it doesn't look promising so far.

    Too bad he has since passed away. We need a good manager. I was thinking it was around the '60s that multi year (2-3 year contracts) started. Was that not until the '70s? So far, so good. Could the Cubs actually win one?

    What an interesting idea !! I wonder if anybody has ever brought in a media type to manage their ballclub in the past ???? I just saw him on the Lead-Off Man show, and it's surprising how much he says that agrees with what everybody on here says. So if not manager, maybe GM. And it would be cool to have the manager or the GM posting on NSBB. ;) Yeah, ask yer grandad who Lou Boudreau was. ;) Why did I have a feeling I was being mocked? :) Wikipedia, here I come.
