    When Dopirak was drafted, I remember all the scouts saying he either would turn into a 40 home run a year hitter or flame out in AA. Looks like they pegged him perfectly.

    CubsFanNotBudMan- You obviously have not been watching baseball very long. Between you saying that if the game is called DLee loses a homer and that they can finish it tomorrow, I am at a loss.

    Point being, who was available? He made a double switch, which was basically pinch hitting. Unless Nomar has said he can play SS, we really didn't have another viable option.

    So would you have let the pitcher bat? I'm trying to think back to who was available. Obviously losing Walkers stick hurt our chances, but Aurellia doesn't make a good play on Murton, the game is essentially over.

    Actually, what I find astonishing is the lengths that some of you, actually it seems to be pretty much all of you, will go to blame a loss on Baker. I'm not in love with the guy myself, but you guys obviously have psyched yourself into thinking that he can do no right, and if he does it was by mistake.
