    Idk how they got out to the start they did, can’t say I was really paying attention to them but they suck. I know Pollock and some of the pitchers are hurt, but their roster is awful sucky right now. Unfortunately, Cubs don’t play them until July

    I'm actually willing to consider this, because I have. It's impossible to measure because there is no stat, but I still saying winning the biggest sports championship in the history of the game, and the core doing it at such a young age, might have affected that "edge" of a team. Pretty sure nobody would agree, though. Wouldn’t surprise me. But like you said, no way to really prove it

    Meh. Make him a reliever and see if his stuff picks up. I don't really care for Hatch and I was disappointed when the Cubs selected him in the 3rd round. That 2016 draft class doesn't look great right now. I wanted Zac Gallen who went two picks later to the Cardinals. Outside of the 1st round picks from 2012-15 (and Cease), most of their draft picks have been disappointing. It’s one of the few knocks I have on this FO.

    Was thinking the same thing. Two straight days of rain outs should lead to a series win over the Cardinals. I hope so. I don't want to freeze my ass off watching these bums tomorrow.
