    They're too dumb to realize they should be rebuilding and also probably wouldn't deal with us for stupid reasons. What Tim said about Reinsdorf not wanting to sit thru a rebuild at 80 yo. But there are dumb reasons why they won't trade w/ Cubs.

    Reeks of a desperate team that still thinks they can "go for it." With the problems they have with their starting pitching, bullpen, low OBP hitters, and mediocre farm system, their best bet is to tear down and completely rebuild. But they won't do it, which is hilarious.
