    Yeah, he's not a 5 star but he's a very good fit for our system and Painter has been recruiting the kid for a couple years. We also added Dakota Mathias a very good outside shooter we desperately needed. Both are only 3 stars (Edwards was a 4 star for a long time until the last update, he was hurt throughout AAU this year) but both are Top 150 kids. Now if we can get Ronnie Harrell and find a big man I'll be pumped.

    I honestly only think I'd trade coaches with about four schools right now. Just curious to see who those coaches/schools are.... Callipari, Izzo, Coach K and Roy Williams? (assuming you aren't trading to get Bill Self back) Self huge gap Callipari Izzo Donovan Roy is just too old for me to want to have him take Groce's spot same with K. I'm not saying Groce is the fourth or fifth best coach in America, I just think he's the perfect fit for our program right now. Uh you forgot Tom Crean.

    We beat the Emus! Suck it haters! But seriously isn't next year supposed to be the worst year as they continue to lose depth and the full weight of the scholarship crunch is in effect?

    But according to Jamie Dukes this is the exact same team as it was under Lovie Smith, only with added talent on offense. Yeah, heard a bit of that. Spiegel getting the soundbye to talk about, cuz a lot of listeners are riled up about that. Dukes was pissed that Lovie was fired and was race baiting. He couldn't get over that enough to be impartial about the many changes we've already seen.

    I like how they say the Packers defense looked better against SF. I understand it's relative but they gave up over 400 yards of passing. Sure they stopped the run but they just gave it up through the air instead. Over 500 yards of offense in both games.

    Plus the Redskins turned the ball over what 3 times in 7 plays to start the game? Vick took some big hits.

    Hmm, I feel good about Long improving as the season goes on. Didn't notice any glaring mistakes except on that first possession of the game, but I have no ability to evaluate o-lineman except to notice when they f-up. Well, Geno Atkins is the best DT in the league and it's not particularly close, so -1.7 may as well be 10.0 for a rookie guard in his first NFL game. No doubt, I was expecting Atkins to run amok.

    Yeah, the national takeaway is probably that the Bears lost the game too.

    We almost lost to an FCS school and got rolled by Cincy. A bad Illinois team smoked Cincy. Our offensive line had almost 50 lbs per man on the indiana St. Defensive line and they shut down our running game. I would love for a miracle game but this one will be ugly on Saturday.

    Hazell has destroyed his honeymoon period in 1.5 games. Impressive. Keep Cottom on the bench during goal line situations Darell. Great call. You must be smarter than everyone else. Keep your best receiver on the bench. Great call. Keep Rob Henry at QB. Great call. IF we win today it may be the only one of the year.
