    Well, either Purdue or Illinois will have a win next week. Too bad you can't tie in college.

    It amazes me that teams throw against Purdue. Just run and you win. Plus the clock keeps running so you can get home to celebrate quicker. If you even celebrate beating Purdue.

    Well let's see if Purdue quits immediately or waits until the 2nd quarter.

    Davis had 14 points, 7 rebounds, a steal, 2 blocks, and 2 assists in 15 minutes of play. Nice bounce back after his 1-7 night. Extremely happy with Stephens' outside shooting so far too. I'm hoping he can keep that up. The free throw shooting was back in the 60% area, but pretty happy with the result. I'm hoping the freshman can get up to speed by the time the conference schedule starts. I'm really liking Peck, he does the dirty work rebounding, getting put backs around the basket, and can even hit a 3. If Stephens can be more agressive getting open he will end up Purdue's all time leading 3 point shooter.

    I know basketball recruiting can be shady but I hope it doesn't get as bad as football recruiting where most verbals mean nothing.

    Purdue looked a little different with AJ Hammons and his 7 blocks last night. He's already in 10th place on Purdue's all time blocks list 1 game into his Sophomore season.

    It's called the CHAMPIONS Classic. Unless you want some Loyola Ramblers action, no one from the State of Illinois belongs in this field. Purdue is close to Chicago and we've got a Helms trophy, bitches!

    Oh and NKU missed 2 FTs that would've likely iced it and then a bunny layup as time expired.

    Saved by Ryne Byrd or whoever Not that I want to defend Purdue, because seriously, it's Northern Kentucky, but wasn't Hammons suspended for this one? Yep. Rebounding killed us plus they rained 3's. That being said we should've beat them handily. Hopefully this was just a hiccup. A loss to NKU would've been devastating for a team that I'm hoping is on the tournament bubble.

    I think it was a pretty rough night in Milwaukee. I was awoken multiple times by sirens in the middle of the night. Heard some screaming in the distance at one point.

    Gruden also said Long only played in 5 games at Oregon while a graphic was on the screen showing Long played in 11 games which I thought was funny.

    I mean they did an x ray. If it wasn't a broken collarbone wouldn't they just deny it? In McCarthys's press conference he was specifically asked if it was a broken collarbone.

    Nobody confirming Zaidman so my cynical ass is assuming he'll be back Sunday.

    It was -8 this morning, IF he is out I bet it falls somewhere to a pick em to Pack -3. Doubt it reopens with them as home dogs. He's the single most important player in football. Maybe in sports.

    Timetable that other QB's have come back from these? Gotta be at least a month right? Assuming it IS broken.
