I want whatever will make A-Rod opt out of his contract but not be too expensive for the cubs. In that case I'm rooting for him to go 0-for-the playoffs and get booed out of the stadium. Indians sweep. actually, i think they have a pretty decent chance of doing just that They have the starting pitching to do just that. I hate the Yankees so the Indians have my vote. Go tribe!

He was slowing down halfway to 2nd when the ball hadn't even been fielded.... there's just no reason to go for it if there's a shot in hell of you being thrown out. he wasn't the tying run. He couldn't risk himself. Ok. I'll concede the point. I definitely agree don't risk it - if it's going to be close. It just looked like he could have cruised into 3rd. Doesn't matter anymore!

Yeah, but you have all these old-timers complaining about how it's not in the spirit of the game. Buncha BS. Agreed. Just because the technology wasn't available 50 years ago doesn't mean it's against the 'spirit of the game', whatever that is.

Yes, but I've never heard of one being overturned. The Reds played a game under protest against us last week if I remember correctly.
