Ahh, that makes three funny things about the Cubs this year. The other two being their offense, and their pitching. -
Andres Blanco is definitely a gamer with a great glove, but I don't know that he has enough pop in his bat to last in the majors. He seems destined to be Rey Ordonez all over again.

I liked Edmonds last year, but I don't think the Cubs need him. The outfield is the one place where we actually have sufficient depth, with Fukudome, Bradley, Hoffpauir, Johnson... Tacking on one more would just be unnecessary money being spent. Where we need help is the bullpen.
