  1. So can't Heyward just go back to whatever swing he was using in his Braves day when he K'd a lot but showed some power? Or is he doing again but lost all possible power?
  2. It won't do much for your slugging Addy, but that's OK. You can keep doing that if you'd like.
  3. Somehow Kyle gives up no hard-hit balls, the Giants don't score, and the Cubs win 3-1, increasing their RD to +64. Before I changed this, Kyle faced one batter and gave up a fly out to the wall. Added in somehow... 3-1. I've been thinking a lot about this the last few minutes.
  4. Yeah, it's obviously annoying if the bunt doesn't work, but Addy had a perfect one and, sorry, I was down with it in that situation.
  5. That's how you execute. Great job by Addy. So much better than him grounding in a double play.
  6. OK. If we don't score with our best contact guy up and the bags loaded, I hope people don't harp on the Addy bunt being at fault. It's time to execute, boys.
  7. I have more confidence scoring a guy from third with one than I have in scoring a guy from second with zero.
  8. Yeah, that R-Mack dude is definitely playing a character.
  9. OK, Addy, do anything to make me still want you as part of our offensive core come July. .... Even if it means a successful bunt.
  10. So all this somehow happens? Yeah, I better change that. We need a win. Somehow I suddenly feel a bit more confident.
  11. Quick poll Who thought the Giants just went up 2-1?
  12. Kyle gives up no hard-hit balls, the Giants don't score, and the Cubs win 3-1, increasing their RD to +64. So all this somehow happens?
  13. Quick poll Kyle Hendricks gives up a few hard hit balls in the next inning and the couple runs allowed are enough for the Giants to beat the Cubs.
  14. This is always my public service announcement to say that you can't just assume the same pitch, same contact from Willson.
  15. For anyone who didn't get to see the play, this is as classy a response as you could possibly read.
  16. He's usually very good, no? If I'm using the incredibly small sample size of today, he ranks below Stevie Wonder.
  17. When the runner gives up 10 feet before home because the ball already is waiting for him, is that incredibly embarrassing for a third base coach?
  18. An at-bat that required contact against a batter who doesn't strike out, of course ends in a K.
