Just now, I could have sworn is saw something along these lines go across ESPN's bottomline: "Jayson Stark reports that the Cubs have refuted comments by the Chicago Sun Times that the team is "very close" to acquiring Jake Peavy and is focusing on obtaining a left handed bat and the sale of the team" That's been there all day.

    CSN said at the beginning (10 minutes ago) that Chuck was going to talk with Hendry in an hour I believe so maybe they delayed it an hour as Towers and Hendry are still meeting.
