  1. And you are still wrong. Check a run expectancy chart. I don't care what a stupid chart tells me. It's a simple fact I would rather have a mistake that doesn't end the inning than one that does. This is why you get more upset when someone strikes out with two outs than with no outs. There is no chance to make up for a two out mistake in a inning. Chart's and statistics aren't the end all be all. What you are saying is that you'd rather have a 75% chance to get a quarter than a 50% chance to get a dollar.
  2. Theriot did it for the first out in the inning I believe giving us two outs to work with. Fukudome ended the inning. I will take the one that gives us the chance to make up for it. You chose poorly.
  3. I hope Counsell's career ends with a broken elbow after he leans into one. It's really one of the things in baseball that annoys me the most
  4. Just another 8 pitch AB ending in Fukudome getting on base.
  5. There's an unusually high amount of ump-bashing today.
  6. ball beat fuk but the tag was terrible, kendal took his glove off the ground, and fukudome should have been called safe
  7. Fukudome was stunned that was called a strike
  8. counsell makes a diving play and throws a really stupid, pathetic throw to second that goes into shallow right. theriot goes for third and is thrown out. Lee goes to second and is barely safe, but the ball gets away from whoever was covering at that point into RF, Lee decides not to pull a theriot
  9. He jumped over the diving johnson and hyperextended his knee on the landing, bent backwards
  10. that was weird, just a bad job at jumping to hurt himself
  11. Yeah, I was coming here to see if I was hearing things... I'm guessing he meant triple digits? Cameron has 10 career 100+ k seasons, so probably.
  12. "Many times in Cameron's career he's struck out in double digits" what, len?
  13. And Zambrano gets a strike in that same off the plate location
  14. Strike 2 was in the same location but a bit higher
  15. well, no reason to throw anything in the zone, it seems
