95% of the people that don't like Scully are younger people that have no attention span. I too find his stories to be compelling because he does his own research and still has a knack for the delivery. Sometimes he has trouble recognizing pitches or will do something like say Rizzo popped up when he meant to say Zobrist, but that is minor in my eyes. His memory is [expletive] incredible and every time he recalls something from back when a player like Jackie played it blows my mind. Maybe because I spent much of my childhood in LA and listened to him for years, but he's the best that's ever been in my lifetime and it's not particularly close and I'll never understand the boring label that idiots on Twitter and message boards have tagged him with the last few years.
