  1. is this a joke or no? serious. if we could cut him we would be better off. I totally agree. That .897 OPS he had last year just really dragged this team down. So wait, let me get this right, you like his guarenteed 2 strike-outs per game? Guess you Sosa deadbeats still can't get over him... geez...

  4. Oh god I hate Soriono he's my main problem with this team. he's just horrible.

  6. this isn't a classroom and your not my mother i wish i was, i'd put you up on my knee and spank you. :rotfl:
  7. keep the thread on topic guys
  8. would have...not would of. Link. And no, we would not have had a championship if he were still here. (subjunctive mood, please.) just stfu this isn't a classroom. Just thought I'd inform you that "of" is a preposition and not a helping verb. It helps your writing appear a bit more educated. The content is bad enough; I thought I would at least help you with the form. I don't need your help. I can handle myself on here. I'm a tough guy.
  9. He was born in Cuba? Woa. Wonder if he ever met Fidel? hahahah, what? Fidel Castro was the long-time dictator in Cuba until this year. He is what they call a communist.
  10. You have had enough fun already, and not to mention you weren't funny either, please give up. no seriously these are my PJ's... http://mlb.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pMLB2-4500466dt.jpg http://mlb.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pMLB2-3832794dt.jpg How old are you?.... 22, you?

  12. jerks p.s. and you guys say i'm living in the past? what about this guy. :glare:
  13. As much as it pains me to say it, the Troll does have a good point though. The Mark Prior nightmares have already started for me. Imagine waking up at two in the morning screaming in the darkness after dreaming that Prior no-hit the Cubs at Wrigley this summer. OMG...Say it can't happen. Say it won't happen. Yep, I have them too. :cray: Why'd we let this guy go? Because you watch Cinemax after 11PM HBO actually
  14. just because I don't share the same opinions as you doesn't automatically make me a troll alright? Please understand that because I do not come here to troll. I have come here because I have been long time reader and hope to post here for a very long time. I have been a life-long cubs fan since I was like 5. My mom and dad raised me that way, especially my dad. I'm sorry I don't share your opinions about the direction of the team but I can assure you I share the same love for this team. 2003 was the closest I've ever come to cubs blissfull happiness. We all know what happened but our differences is just that, a difference of viewpoint. As long as I am a respectful and kind poster I think we can co-exist here. I've been thinking alot after joining this board and I do think I may be living in the past a bit. But honestly, what is wrong with that? I fell in love with that team and I guess it's just hard to let go. I actually think I am a very optimistic person but I just don't like the way we are heading, especially after the loss of Prior, Nomar, and the waste of money in Soriono (hey 2000 called they want their all-star player back). So please, I hope we can keep this channel of communication open and be nice to each other from now on. I really would appreciate if you would stop calling me a troll because I am not a troll. There is also no need to make fun of me. I'm a huge cubs fan and if you saw my pajama's you definitely know that for sure.
  15. looks like a mexican fonzie
  16. i'm not so sure... 2004: 687 PA, 168 K (24.5% K/PA) 2005: 481 PA, 118 K (24.5% K/PA) 2006: 498 PA, 94 K (18.9% K/PA) 2007: 503 PA, 65 K (12.9% K/PA) So? Whether it's strikeouts, pop outs or ground outs, he still makes the same amount of them. Last year he struck out almost 30 times less than 2006 in only two less at bats and his OBP still dropped. Dude you were just proven wrong, give up already. What? No he wasn't. Even though Corey's strikeouts have dropped he is still getting on base at the same low rate No feed-y the trolls more like don't feed the cubs fan. Okay, I think that's enough, Meph WTF are you talking about?

  19. Wow cool thanks! I was there. I was in right field though so you can't see me.
  20. I love Dusty, I will definiately be cheering him. We would of had a Championship if he was still here.
