I have come here because I have been long time reader and hope to post here for a very long time. I have been a life-long cubs fan since I was like 5. My mom and dad raised me that way, especially my dad. I'm sorry I don't share your opinions about the direction of the team but I can assure you I share the same love for this team. 2003 was the closest I've ever come to cubs blissfull happiness. We all know what happened but our differences is just that, a difference of viewpoint. As long as I am a respectful and kind poster I think we can co-exist here. I've been thinking alot after joining this board and I do think I may be living in the past a bit. But honestly, what is wrong with that? I fell in love with that team and I guess it's just hard to let go. I actually think I am a very optimistic person but I just don't like the way we are heading, especially after the loss of Prior, Nomar, and the waste of money in Soriono (hey 2000 called they want their all-star player back).
