The Brewers also won the first two games of the series and won the series. The Cubs have already lost the series with a chance to get swept tomorrow. Advantage: Cubs. Baby steps. It's not over yet. Advantage Cubs for sure. Agreed. Brewers came into this series unable to accept 2 of 3. They're also unable to accept 2 of 4 from SD, but it's (hopefully!!) going to happen too. Absolutely. It's been quite a refreshing year on the whole. Every manager makes some stupid decisions, it just happens over the course of 162 games. But more often than not Lou has been damn good. We blow this lead? He'll be crucified. Think Rex-type crucifixion. na, it will be "the Curse". The Bears are held FAR more accountable then the Cobs.

New sod is usually a bit of a problem. But there are 10 days before any potential game on that field, it should be in good shape by then. Football teams sometimes resod midweek, and there's a lot more starting and stopping in that sport. Odds are you'll see some clumps come up here and there, and it will be noticeable for the TV cameras, but given the time frame, a quality grounds crew should be able to make it playable and relatively safe. wow, I guess I would think it would be a huge issue, maybe not.
