    I'd think it would be pretty easy for the opp QB to read the defense when the secondary looks like rural Wisconsin in fall also, dark colors in the sunny heat are hell

    I think its definitely going to become harder and harder to justify a RB pick in the 1st round, let alone expect any of them to go into the HoF. The game (mostly because of rule changes) has moved away from the position to such a great extent. But, there are still ones out there that defy this, and I think McCaffery, and (because of homer glasses) Payton certainly would. Barry Sanders perhaps. The list goes pretty blank after that

    exatcly 1 of those rb's has had the level of succcess as McCaffery, and hes now in the HoF. Also, McCaffery did it in Carolina as well but I get your overall jesture for using rb's in the Shannahan offense, as long as you are good with a 147 yard Orlandis Gary season

    he had over 2k yards and 21 td's last season and has consistently been very good*, most people would qualify that as worthy of a rd 1 pick *when healthy

    I just find it easy to express my disappointment with the Bears by aiming directly at the QB...because its worked and has been true my entire lifetime

    nah, I think that dispite him saying he never gets nervous, he most certainly got nervous over the course of the game when an actual NFL defense threw him looks he like has never seen before.
