    We should swap contact books so we can text out fam/friends AND each others fam/friends, that way the information is presented in stereo and is presented in such an awesome way it gets at how cool a signing it really is. After 2016, I’d hate for people to become bored with the Cubs

    I wouldnt hate getting the top CB in the draft Me either. Though I don't have Ward as the top CB. I think Fitzpatrick is a CB at least initially in the NFL, and he'd be excellent here. I also like Jaire Alexander from Louisville more than Ward, but he had injury issues in 2017 and I could see him being available maybe in the 2nd (though probably with a short trade up). If Ward was 5'11", I'd adore him. But he's probably sub 5'10", though he will likely run in the 4.3s. I wouldn't hate the pick at all, even at 8. I feel the Bears need to go big this offseason at one position on defense. Whether CB or OLB, an elite player at either position would set up this defense for a long time. If the Bears re-sign Fuller, they are a CB (and an Amos extension) away from having a really good secondary for at least 3 years. If they find an OLB, they'd potentially have a dominant front 5 if Floyd stays healty and one of Robertson-Harris or Bullard takes a step up (and I was impressed by the former a ton down the stretch). Fitzpatrick is probably a safety, and while Alexander is good I like Ward better. I agree on R-H. He was playing really well towards the end of the season.

    heard on the radio that someone (not kiper) had a source close to Browns and said they are really, really impressed by Allen and are likely to pick him. In addition to the "grain of salt" behind all of this is that, why would anyone in Cleveland float that out there when there is no upside in them taking someone that isn't (to say the least) a sure-fire #1? Counterpoint, of course, is because Browns. Amazing.

    I would always like to err on the side of wait and see (Nagy doesn’t have a playoff game to coach), but yea. Nagy seems far more on his game then McD at this point. is this a sign of perspective coordinators opinion if each coach?

    Potenetial QB needy teams CLE (two picks) NYG DEN NYJ ------- MIA ARI BUF JAX 1st round possible QBs. Rosen, Jackson, Darnold, Rudolph. Maybe Alen ,but that seems a stretch. So we basically want three of those to go by the time of the Jets pick, and we want Miami to be perceived as a real threat as there's only 4 slots between them and the Jets. Cousins leaving WAS and making them another relative threat would be nice too... though perhaps not if it takes one of the top 4 put of the QB race. Obviously they can explore non QB trade downs too, it just won't likely be mega packages. Allen is definitely a 1st rounder. Mayfield probably is too. Don't think Randolph is. Yes I agree with this

    I think if the Bears draft Williams at #8, they really reached. I like him at a later pick after a trade much more The Combine hasn't happened yet. It's way too early to get hung up on the value of individual players. Sure however I’m willing to bet that even after the combine he’ll still be a reach at number eight

    I feel like that’s the point though he was trying to make the tackle, its that he just dove at Diggs feet thinking it was a safer tackle to make. And then he whiffed it because Diggs was somehow channeling Michael Jordan and floating in the air for like seven years

In other words, I don’t think he was thinking that clearly on trying to avoid the PI, he just blew the tackle Vikings probably win if there’s a PI so that’s probably what happened.     I Really don't think the DB tried to launch himself. I think the pass floated and the DB thought he might get there too early causing a PI. Game can't end on a defensive penalty, and that would've put the Vikings in FG range with one play remaining and no time on the clock. I think the DB pulled up trying to avoid making early contact. Unfortunately, he took out the other defender - ball game. He just dove at Diggs instead of trying to tackle him- and whiffed. A PI penalty would have been a much wiser choice. In other words, I don’t think he was thinking that clearly on trying to avoid the PI, he just blew the tackle
