  1. He far from 100% with his shoulder, plus getting comfortable with a new swing.. PEOPLE, I was joking.
  2. He hit the crap out of that ball Kyle knows how hard to hit it
  3. He hit that ball 400 feet, what's wrong with that? either he chose the wrong part of the park or he should have hit it 410'
  4. A perfect game from him would shock me however
  5. I expect nothing less then a no hitter from Q
  6. not true. if the opposing team pitches their best pitcher, you want our best because we would likely pummel them 8-2. If they pitch their worst, then horsefeathers it season over
  7. he was almost as bad as Gio was when we got him. I know, I know, Arlington but still. Depending what they gave to Washington, Gio was worth taking a flyer on His peripheral numbers are nearly as bad as any of the worst pitchers we have in terms of K/BB rates, etc. his last 8 starts he has a mid 6 era, near 5 fip and over 5 xfip and given up 32 runs, 53 hits, 22 walks in 42 innings. Unless they thought an environment change like Hamels would fix him (don’t think Washington is extreme either way) or he’d change his pitch mix like Hamels idk what there is to like, he’s been quite bad this year and in the last 2 months. He also cleared waivers, so we could’ve gotten him. The VBs board are a bunch of prospect huggers but they think they gave up too much in the 2 prospects they sent I remember reading. welp, I didn't realize just HOW bad he's been. He's been a very reliable, productive pitchers in years past. Its odd to see him drop off the cliff like this, even for an aging pitcher it seems extreme
  8. idk but if they gave up anything from low-level talent to nothing, it was a gamble worth taking. I doubt they gave up anything meaningful, being the chess players that they are up in Milwaukee.
  9. which is why we shouldn't improve it? http://www.mlb.com/images/5/4/8/292789548/083118_hamels_wave.gif he was almost as bad as Gio was when we got him. I know, I know, Arlington but still. Depending what they gave to Washington, Gio was worth taking a flyer on
  10. why are we planning on the WC again?
  11. we're in 1st Despite a really crappy performance from most of our rotation. which is why we shouldn't improve it?
  12. he's been pretty crappy this year but this is not a "meh". Gio could replace 2 of our starter slots. That says way more about our rotation than it does about him. we're in 1st
