  1. Where did this D come from? fun
  2. 222 vs 83 yards in the first half, keep it up
  3. Didn’t try running much there, but it looked like Philly was starting to cheat guys down to stop the run. let’s go D
  4. Bears are keeping eagles D on the field a lonnng time
  5. Bears D got fooled twice there, but escape lets go O
  6. Swift got that first I thought
  7. Looking forward to this, BEAR DOWN
  8. Desperately need Dexter and Sweat providing a pass rush
  9. Lions are a mess
  10. JJ, Gordan and Wright, ok I can roll with that
  11. Throwing it away would have resulted in a 9 point swing because there was no way our D was going to stop the great Rudolf. safety Free kick Steelers march down for 7 thats pretty much exactly how it would have gone, and quite frankly I’m happy it was only 7, as bad as it looked
  12. the Bears are a 8-3 team with a rookie HC, seasoned DC, #1 pick QB and a HUGE following....and the charter franchise. I dont think we need to apologize anymore, the NFL wants the Bears to be good and if we aren't, we are definitely on our way

  14. Weird, but I know no other way Bears win 34-31 on a last second field goal, just as the season has gone
  15. Wright is nice depth, in a lesser secondary (not having JJ, Gordon, and Stephenson) he might be a #2 also, is it Stephenson or Stevenson?
  16. Stevenson is being asked to cover #1's in the NFL week after week. Get JJ back, and he will be fine on the #2.
  17. TJ Watt was on him fast on that fumble. I'm not sure he could just "throw it away" either, he wasnt out of the pocket and an intentional grounding would have been a safety. given how bad the D was all day, a safety may have led to 9 points when the Steelers would have in unstoppable fashion marched down the field. Running the ball would have been a better play call but in the end, even the fumble (and TD) didnt kill the team. I just wish the D could stop molasses, because THAT would change the game
  18. If the get JJ, Gordan, 1 or 2 LBs, they have to try the game as their measuring stick. Nobody will pick them, but it’s an excellent chance to start seeing where they really are
  19. I think they should aim to sweep no matter the outcome of their last game. They may jump someone really good if this D gets healthy
  20. Well, they arent pretenders but they also arent real good. That being said, fortune favors the bold, and the Bears continue to take advantage when they need to. I'll be ecstatic with 10 wins, even if they miss the playoffs. It would also be so typically Bears to get to 10 wins and be 2 of like 3 for 10 win teams that dont make the playoffs, and thats why I dont think it will happen. Ben Johnson seems to be kryptonite to "typical Bears". For the last 65 years, the Bears have been thought of as a Defense First team , but it hasnt always been that way. For a long time, it was offense offense offense, and in fact, thats when they won the most Championships in overall team history. Maybe the long slow pendulum of time is coming back the other way. I would like to see a good D backing up the O, however.
