    That would be a very dumb move on our part. Kerry Wood has come in and done a fabulous job this year. I don't want us anywhere near K-Rod for the price he's asking. We have much better, cheaper options internally. I'd rather spend the money to get a starter.

    I was excited when we signed him earlier this year, hoping he'd get a spot in the rotation. I liked him though. Hopefully he can be successful with whatever he does.
