    Hey, Escobar might have gotten a hit on the next pitch. You never know. He also probably would have taken that pitch on the chin if his bat wasn't right there. Yeah, that ball was at least a foot from his head. Looked like he had the bat close to his head/chest when it hit him. I'll have to watch the replay to double check. It was clear that it got the bat.
