  1. It was 2-1 going into the bottom of the 9th last night. Maybe you're onto something...
  2. Kind of excited to see how Bowden does.
  3. I'm done with Marmol. Please get rid of this fool.
  4. In two games as a Red Sock, Marlon Byrd is 3 for 8.
  5. DeWitt is 1 for 10 with an RBI as a pinch hitter in 2012.
  6. That was ****ing amazing. I don't care we suck. Seeing everyone jump around the mound celebrating makes me excited for the next few years when we are good.

On Saturday the Cubs ended their six game losing streak by defeating the Reds, 6-1. The Cubs will try to win the series by taking on Johnny Cueto who has had a strong start to 2012. Through his first three starts, he's given up runs off of two home runs and a triple. Going for the Cubs is recently called up Randy Wells making his 2012 debut. He's taking the spot of Ryan Dempster who was placed on the DL Saturday. Wells has been horrible for Iowa, so this has the makings to be a blowout for Cincinnati.
  9. Not a horrible inning for Maholm, I guess.
  10. Bruce Miles ‏ @BruceMiles2112 #Cubs DL Dempster, call up Campana. Another move Sunday to get Wells on roster. Whither Byrd?

Cubs will try to stop this six game losing streak in which they've been out scored, 43-14. Leake pitched pretty well in his first start against the Cardinals, then blew a five run lead he had against the Nationals. Maholm has given up 6 ER in 4 IP in each of his first two starts as a Cub.
