the excitable irrational side of me wants him to start from game 1 and thinks we could be surprisingly good if he hits with this defense (with the one horsefeathers thing being fox keeps his job if that happens) the boring conservative side of me wants glennon to play OK the rest of preseason, then play OK enough to lose the job after trubisky gets a few weeks (maybe 4-5) to watch and then maybe glennon has enough value to get traded for a mid round pick. who am i kidding, start him week 1 I don't see any value in giving Glennon starts. This season isn't about wins. Same with Kizer vs Osweiler in Cleveland. Just start Kizer, see if he's good, and if he sucks, draft a different QB next year.

I do believe that if Trubisky shows well in the rest of the preseason that there is no reason for Glennon to start. Either Trubisky is your guy or he isn't, so why not give him as many starts to find that out as possible?

you know that guy who hates fun and tries to keep other people from having it? don't be that guy if someone is dumb enough to not understand the lens through which you'd look at how trubisky played last night, that's on them. nobody is putting him in the hall of fame or even the starting role yet and the talk about the game doesn't need to be qualified that way. There's a difference between watching and going "hey, that was fun" and "let me post every article and graphic about it". Your'e just setting yourself up for disappointment

I was up at 6:30am yesterday, commuted an hour to work, an hour back, took the kids to some appointments, and was falling asleep by 10pm. I have to be up at 6:30 again tomorrow, so staying up until 1 isn't a good tactical move
