Don't know why no one has thought of melding these two ideas. Have the player's team uniform, but replace the city/team name with "American" or "National" (in the same font/style as the regular uniform). You'd sell a horsefeathers ton of them.
I expect Bellinger to opt in, which means that the current starting 9 are all under contract for 2025. Unless we're trading some of those guys away, I expect far less than 44% change (from today, not from opening day)
Comparisons to Fields now are moot. Caleb didn't have a spectacular day, but he looked like he knew the offense and was comfortable running it. We had several years of Fields looking completely lost on every possession
