  1. Who can argue that 94 carreer OPS+
  2. http://media.wsbt.com/images/cubs%20beat%20mets.jpg and http://www.cbc.ca/sports/indepth/gfx/baseball-rich-harden_392.jpg
  3. Maybe after half a season of suckage comes half a season of awesomeness
  4. Good win. Now let's kick some Philadelphian ass
  5. So this is like the 2nd time Nyjer Morgan has been out this entire series, right?
  6. Something tells me the Cubs are going to score more than 11 runs this game.
  7. AHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHA the Nats suck so bad. Good job remembering you're actually a competent offense Cubs.
  8. I'm loving the team's 5-11 with RISP.
  9. Cool thing is, it's only the 4th inning. We still have 5 innings of crappy bullpen to go. This should be a fun evening.
  10. Lol, this guy is seriously missing his spots. Nice Hart, good job helping yourself out at the plate. Now help yourself out on the mound as well.
  11. Ball 1 and strike 2 were in the exact same spot. Nice consistent zone blue
  12. So it seems like Sori's got his eye and his timing back.
  13. Hart has no business being a starter. Marshall needs to make the start next time that spot is up in the rotation. You cannot have someone who has 13BB and 5 SO in 13IP be your starter even if it's the fifth starter. I agree. It seems as if Hart wants to compete with Mock to see who sucks the most.
  14. I still have confidence that the Cubs will win, but Hart is definitely making it hard.
  15. Oh well, even this offense should be able to get runs off Mock. He seems very, VERY hittable.
  16. Yes, but in this case it's not one of our elite hitters K'ing or something. It was a catcher who isn't even a starter if not for Soto being out. him not getting the runner in is something that would happen to most teams in that situation.
  17. That was anticlimatic. But oh well, this guy seems very hittable.
  18. He OPS+'ed 136 in 2006, with a .911 OPS while having a 40/40 season. If Dustin Pedroia's 2008 was MVP caliber, Soriano's 2006 damn sure was too. I'm getting pretty sick of all this bitching about Soriano. People just can't seem to get the idea that complaining about someone doesn't matter. It doesn't change anything. He has the contract, so we have him for another couple of years. Might as well support him while he's here.
