    oh, cuz it wasn't icing I'd say everyone came to play. other than kaner Kane has been his usual solid self in the offensive zone, but in a game like this his utter indifference to defense is even more glaring. So, 88, just score a hattie or something, kay? He made a really dumbass play skating it into his own zone and then losing the puck.

    But IMO they were comically bad, so I could laugh, this team doesn't provide any entertaining or redeemin g feature. They are boring and bad. 2001 was pretty hopeful at times, but when you got Matt Stairs and Ron Coomer anchoring your corner infield spots and Fred McGriff would rather play for TB than the Cubs, you couldn't help but laugh a little. 2001 is probably my most memorable year as a Cubs fan for some reason (been a fan since 98). Probably because it came out of no where.

    I'm feeling good about my decision to follow the minors closely for the first time ever. I'd like to enjoy baseball a bit.

    I don't think anyone is upset (well, except for sulley, but he's sports crazy). I'm not too nervous yet but if we lose Tuesday I will be a bit uneasy.

    Hawks have scored three goals in a period before. It will be tough because Vancouver won't be very aggressive and Luongo is on tonight but you never know.
