Wait, what? When Heyward got hit, it was the first thing out of the dude's mouth. Not Chip or Murphy, their other guy. He's been bad-mouthing shifts all series. I HATE NEW THINGS FOR NO REASON! -
I feel like we have let a lot of good pitches go and are swinging at a lot of bad ones in these first 6 games. Frustrating to watch.

Win today and it's still a fine road trip.

I'd prefer to have whomever is pitching best close the game. It is hard to tell who that is at this point but Marmol had been pretty crappy in his first two outings and I don't think bringing him in up 1 to the top half a good line up was good idea. Since Russel and Kuji had been used, I would have put Camp in there. Camp may have blown it too but they would have had a better chance of winning if he pitched.

At least it's an early start tomorrow so the taste of that garbage ending can, hopefully, get washed away.

Well, bringing the tying run to the plate with no outs is pretty [expletive]. Yeah, he followed it up with a k and two grounders, but that he was in that situation in the first place given the type of pitcher he is is problematic (especially since guys were hitting him and not just walking on). He did get squeezed to one of those first two batters.
