    Looks like Wisconsin isn't missing today.

    Most likely, unless Minnesota would like win out. Then they probably get in (OSU, IA, UM, PSU left). They still would maybe have to win a BIG tournament game in that scenario to get in. Nebraska could still get in, but they have some work to do. I.E. not drop any easy ones and beat Wisconsin. Huskers could finish 11-7 in the Big Ten and miss the tournament. That'd be kind of weird.

    I think that will end up being a goal. Edit: Guess not What happened? Puck was sliding by the Latvian goalie and a Latvian defenseman gloved it before it crossed the line.

    At least we'd get to watch 3 games in 6 days. It is a bit annoying to face the inconvenience and probable disadvantage because another team's arena falls apart though.

    We could realistically win a co-championship right now. Still would be very difficult to do and I'm not getting my hopes up for it but still, it's February and I'm considering the possibility that Iowa wins a Big Ten championship and that's awesome. I think it's fairly realistic. You have MSU losing at a neutral site against Georgetown and at home against 1-9 on the road Nebraska. You have UM giving IU one of its only 2 wins in their last 8 and getting blown out against you guys and at home against wisky. I don't think it would be very difficult for Iowa to claim a share of the conference at this point. I think they have to win out to do it. That means beating Wisconsin at home (not difficult but we just lost to Ohio State at home and they probably aren't as good as Wisconsin), beating Minnesota and Indiana on the road (not extremely tough but won't be easy) and then winning at Michigan State (haven't done that in 20 years and they're good) it's doable but it would take a pretty good stretch of play.

    Nice to play poorly for most of a game and still win by 12 over a top 100 team on the road.

    I don't really care about what Smart did and think it's hilarious that a guy who did something racist got some negative consequence for it (if something racist did happen) but I don't really agree that saying Smart shouldn't have attacked the fan is casually accepting racism either. There are a lot of reasons why it was a bad idea to do what Smart did and doing something despite the numerous negative consequences for doing so can easily be defined as doing something stupid.

    If you guys want to go on a hot streak and finish at .500 (losing in Iowa City of course) that'd be neat.

    I am really afraid we can't keep this pace up. Well I didn't expect that to end well (for Iowa fans at least.) Be nice if that was the end to blowing leads and not closing out games thing that we do.

    Dude. 8-10? They're 5-3 now. They have 5 home games left vs. OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, Purdue, Illinois. They're going at least 3-2 in those 5. There's 8 right there. The road games are Illinois, PSU, Indiana, Minnesota, MSU. I think they get at least 2 of those. 10-8 is the floor, I still put them at 12-6. I mean, there's like a 5-10% chance we're 8-10. And I know logically that we're really good but I'm a little emotional and crazy when it comes to Iowa sports.
