Rich Hill takes the mound for the Cubs coming off of his best start in quite some time. Unfortunately, Rich took a ND home in a 2-1 loss to the bums from Houston. Josh Fogg will take the mound for the Rockies. Fogg was also tremendous in his last start going 7 innings and picking up a win against the Brew Crew. REMINDER: Bears play the Texans at the same time on NBC! Go Cubs, Go Wandy, and Go BEARS!

    I didn't see a thread about this but there's a recent article on ChicagoSports.com that has some encouraging news. Here's a quote from Pie... "I talked to him at the airport when he was going to Denver," Pie said. "He told me he was recovering very quickly and can walk normally now. The [torn right quad] is not too painful, and he said he can come back soon." The article always mentions Ward and his possible return this weekend. "Piniella said Daryle Ward, on the DL with a strained right calf, also would join the team Thursday in Denver and might be activated this weekend.
