Okay - enough of the banter - I'd like to join the "rotation" whenever that is officially decided upon. 🙂

- Shota Imanaga has a better year than Yoshinobu Yamamoto. - Michael Busch plays well enough to move into everyday starter, rather than "platoon option". - Garrett Cooper turns into the everyday DH, and enjoys a career year in HR after hitting 17 last year. - Jordan Wicks has many games that remind us of Mark Prior in his prime - Cubs/Reds battle for the division, while the Cardinals stay closer to being mid or worse (See .. I can do more than just run the HR Derby! 😉)

Hello everyone, and welcome back to the Home Run Derby!| This is the kick off thread for the 2024 HR Derby at Northside Baseball! I am putting the final touches on things for the upcoming season. I anticipate putting the threads up by mid-week. Looking forward to another fun season!

2024 Update: I have everything ready to go; just waiting on offseason moves and '24 projections of Home Runs. While I wait on those two major updates, I'll be reviewing the threads from this season's game (and the rules) and seeing if anything needs to be tweaked for next season.

I will be back in 2024, as I've already started working on next year's game. However - unless we have increased interest, 2024 will likely be my last year running this game. Until then - cheers, congrats and have a great offseason. Southpaw19 (Josh)
