  1. thank geo i have a study session to go to now. it will save whatever tiny bit of sanity i have left. hopefully i get some good news when i return. good luck to (ME!!!!!) everyone.
  2. i've resorted to looking on the cubs.com message board to see if anyone has been selected. so far, nothing. however, there was one poster who copied and pasted an email from the Mets he got and changed the dates and the Mets to the Cubs, but forgot to replace Shey Stadium with Wrigley Field. The detectives over at cubs.com were able to figure out it was a fraud.
  3. 15. Over or under on how many people on this board post that they got accepted?
  4. Sorry to burst your bubble but you're forgetting to account for season ticket holders. Ahh true. Forgot about that. Still seems like some pretty good odds. Obviously all of us are aware of this process, but I have talked to a lot of more casual fans who have no idea that this is the process for tickets this year. Hopefully that will give us a little advantage. Trying to stay positive here. Yeah, the chances are actually fairly decent. A lot of people from around here will get selected. I just fear that I won't be one of them. But you're right, a lot of casual fans don't know about it.
  5. Sorry to burst your bubble but you're forgetting to account for season ticket holders.
  6. I wish I didn't delete the rejection e-mail I got from the Brewers. I'd like to know what time that one was sent out at. I need to study for a test and it's distracting to have to refresh my email every 12 seconds.
  7. You'll still get an email saying that your life is over.
  8. Of course you will. Care to explain why? bartman, billy goats, black cat, etc.
  9. And there's still Dodger tickets available. Looks like a profit won't be made after all.
  10. Miami Dolphins.
  11. good thing Ronny Brown and his 4 rushing TDs/1 passing TD was sitting on my bench
  12. I'm guessing a lot of people went down to Wrigley. That's where I'd be if I didn't have to be at a friends to pregame her birthday party tonight at 7. I know if I went down to Wrigley today, I wouldn't want to leave until sometime tomorrow afternoon.
  13. I know it won't happen but I hope Lou puts Marquis out in the pen for the rest of the year. Let's see how he does in middle relief.
  14. Prince deserves to be hit in the face for that forearm there.
  15. That would suck if it mattered. It's a good thing. Meh, I'd much rather see the game last longer because of unbelievably long Reds innings (like yesterday) and OH YEAH DERO!!! I'd much rather see the Brewers win and win the WC so we can face the Dodgers in the first round.
  16. That would suck if it mattered. It's a good thing.
  17. I'm hoping Mets, but no Marlins/D-backs is fine with me. We can take anyone in the NL right now, but I'd feel way more comfortable facing the Phillies in a 7 game series than a 5 game series. Exactly. Me too. Having to face Hamels twice in a 5 game series is not cool. Why are we afraid of the Marlins?
  18. I really hope we finish (and win) our game before Milwaukee finishes (and loses) theirs.
  19. NLCS? What makes you think they're going to get past the Cubs/Phillies/Mets?
  20. Damn, I didn't register for either of those teams or the Phillies. I did the ones you posted in the thread earlier and then forgot to check out the other teams. Soooo I only did the Brewers, D-Backs (crap), Angels, and White Sox (for my friend-he did Cubs for me).
  21. Stop being a B, Lou. Proclaim your love for GEO and appoint him MVP of the universe.
