I think umps, like most everyone else just dont like having to deal with AJ, so they generally give him his way just to get rid of him.

While most emo bands essentially sound, there are a few stand outs, Motion City Soundtrack and the now defunct Get Up Kids to name a few.

He is our 3 for the next few weeks. If that doesn't scare the hell out of you then you have some kinda faith in our offense. If he's our third-best starter, that's not his fault. He's a starter who consistently puts up ERA+s over 100. That's adequate at worst. If you look at number 5 and even 4 starters around the league, you'll find that Marquis is quite adequate indeed.

Interesting that on WGN with Len and Bob, you here a lot of crowd noise, but on CSN with Hawk, its dead quiet.

Normally, yes, but he's coming off his worst outing as a reliever. I don't have a problem with putting him out there just to let him remember that he's damn good. Perhaps. I'd rather wait an inning or two though, incase Marquis or someone gets in trouble. If love to see Marquis make it through this one. with Wise, probably Thome, and Cabrera coming up, theres a good chance.

The commercial they have of him making an "amazing" diving catch is so obviously only amazing becase of the insanely slow route he takes on the ball. It's embarassing. Jermaine doesnt make his money with his legs.
