    the kid is hot...pie that is... i just hope the right decision is made i am enthralled that soriano aka "alien" is going to LF...all of my friends kept saying that we needed to put him somewhere besides center and definitely not bat him leadoff...well...i said that i was content to let lou try out what he wanted at first, but now that one good move has been made hopefully soriano will be moved to 3, 4, or 5... soriano in leadoff sucks period

    at this point, i just want a decision made sometime very soon...all this uncertainty is really pointless...i thought the cubs were going to compete this year, not sit around debating their roster...

    Why is Murton pissing you off? Is it because he's been thrust only into end game situations as a young player against pitchers he's never faced in his only AB of the game? Is it because Lou is putting him in that spot? Is it because the Cubs system hates OBP and tries to remove that quality from his plate approach? Which one is it? Even when he has played and started this year he hasn't looked good. He doesn't do anyhting good besides being patient, and he hasnt even done that this year. I find it incredibly odd that a player that's been historically very patient, even in 500+ ML ABs under Dusty, is suddenly swinging at so many first pitches. I don't know what's going on, but I can't believe that he suddenly abandoned his patient approach. it is because he has redhair haha...they just said that ronny cedeno is dumber than dirt on the score! awesome...that made my day!
