  1. Assuming Gooz stays in the rotation and starts the 12th, it would be Lilly. Sweet I'd be cool with that.
  2. Got a question for everyone: going by our current rotation who will I see play the Phillies on the 13th?
  3. Priceless thread.
  4. What could we actually get for this guy anyway?
  5. I remember I was just walking back to my seats when Diaz hit that HR. That was horrible.
  6. Too worn out to fight...And it's only April! According to ESPN.com, only 5.6% of teams in the last 25 years to finish April 3 games or more under .500. Huh? Am I missing something here? Only 5.6% of playoff teams in the last 25 years finished 3 games or more under .500 in April. That's nice. Doesn't really tell us anything. Yea thats the stat. Sorry, its hard watching a movie and posting. :(
  7. Too worn out to fight...And it's only April! According to ESPN.com, only 5.6% of teams in the last 25 years to finish April 3 games or more under .500.
  8. I expected outrage at Cesar starting. What gives?
  9. Cesar's gonna start according to rotoworld.
  10. Brady Quinn's chin is huge.
  11. Couldn't this have gone in the other Theriot SS thread?
  12. I think if we can blow teams out for 40 straight games we'd be sittin pretty. Do people not understand that blowing teams out is more impressive than winning close games? I think its a pretty common misconception. Winning close games just means you got a little lucky and was evenly matched with another team. Blowing a team out means you beat them in every sense of the game. Or in this case it means they scored a bunch of runs on the Brewers worst pitchers. In 2005, the Indians had 93 wins but were 22-36 in one run games. That same season, Seattle had 69 wins but was 26-23 in one run games ok...but putting that in context...seattle didn't make the postseason...therefore, it has no event on my arguement are you serious? yes :?
  13. Batting leadoff isn't seeming to help Soriano out like we thought, so we should go ahead and move him back. I would propose: Theriot SS/2B Murton RF Lee 1B Ramirez 3B Soriano LF Barrett C Pie CF DeRosa SS/2B Rotation: Zambrano Hill Lilly Marquis Guzman Bullpen: Dempster Wuertz Cotts Howry Cherry Ohman Marmol Bench: Blanco Floyd Ward Jones Fontenot (sp?) that lineup seems so apparent, but as a cub fan i know that it is about as probable as tuffy rhodes leading off for us tommorow and blasting 3 HRs Pretty much.
  14. Then stop watching. If he was going to he would have done so before the other 100 odd posts that look exactly like that one.
  15. Somehow after reading your posts over tha last day, I'm starting to get the feeling you might not like this team.
  16. *braces for cries of frustration and misery*
  17. You sir are my new favorite poster.
  18. Haahaaahahahaha
  19. The only people talking about their 1-run record are the people who keep blaming their struggle on luck and blindly expecting things to just even out. Pythagorean record doesn't mean things will even out. You have proof that it won't?
  20. But the season is over!
  21. Ridiclous considering when we win tonight and tommorrow, we're 3 games back. There's baseball tomorrow too? Are you sure?
